John Melnick is a graduate of the American Conservatory of Music, Chicago, and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Piano Performance. He was the 1975 winner of the Conservatory's Piano concerto Competition and performed the Khachaturian Piano Concerto with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra at Orchestra Hall. In addition to his classical background, John is well versed in jazz, pop, rock, new age and improvisational keyboard styles as well as "mid" and synthesizer recording. He is also a prolific writer and performer of popular music. He wrote, performed and sang his songs on an album titled "ZAZU" produced by RCA, Wooden Nickel Records. John has performed both as a pianist, synthesist and vocalist with such talents as Arista songwriter Tim Moore of "Second Avenue" fame, Ann Jillian and Jim Peterik of Survivor. He is also a "jingle" singer and has sung on numerous TV and Radio commercials over the last 18 years. John has also provided his talents on session recordings throughout the area including his vocals on the last song, "Beyond My Wildest Dreams", in John Candy's movie "Delirious". Throughout his career, John has performed at private parties and corporate events as a piano soloist, vocalist and as keyboard player in many Chicagoland bands and orchestras.
Bill Finnigan
Bill Finnigan has been playing drums professionally in the Chicagoland Area and Midwest, since 1973. Bill studied at Roosevelt University with Gary Matz, and also with grammy award winning drummer Paul Wertico. Bill is known for his solid timekeeping and comfortable feel. His versatility and experience allows him to play comfortably in many styles of music, including rock, pop, jazz and latin music. Bill has spent most of his career freelancing with many of Chicago's top band leaders, including Eden Entertainment, The Brian Patti Orchestra, Kurt Michaels, Stanley Paul, Allan Kaye and Ron Harris. He has also performed with many artists, including John Gary and The Drifters. Bill has also performed and recorded with many of Chicago's finest musicians, including Bob Lizik, Fred Simon, Mark Colby, John Melnick, Frank Caruso, Peter Miletic, Ross Taut, Steve Eisen, Josie Falbo, Kraig Mccreary, Ernie Denov and many more.

Early in his career, Steve traveled nationally for several years with the band "Devotion". It was there that he worked with singing star "Basia". Soon after, he began working as a band leader, taking 8-10 piece bands to the largest venues in Chicago. When he's not playing concerts, he works as a producer, primarily in Chicago. Though much of the work is commercial, he also works on projects with many Chicago artists producing music ranging from progressive rock to Classical. When recording his own CDs, he uses the talents of the most respected jingle players in Chicago, as well as national artists such as Howard Levy and Danny Gottlieb. His material has complex rhythms and chord structures bordering on jazz fusion, while at the same time maintaining a catchy pop style with thought provoking poetry. He has completed graduate studies in recording, computer science and film-making, and holds a degree in Music and Master's Degree in Business Administration from DePaul University.
